Landing Page vs Website: Which Does Your Business Need?

One focused offer or several services: choose the structure that gives visitors enough information to get in touch.

Quick answer

A landing page is a web page focused on one offer or next step; a website can contain one page or many. For Build n Found's packages, a Landing Website puts your content on one page for $299, while a Business Website provides up to five custom pages for $499. Choose a landing page for a focused message; choose separate pages when your services and business information need more room.

A landing page is not the opposite of a website. It can be the whole site or a focused page within a larger site. Here we compare our one-page Landing Website with our multi-page Business Website so you can decide based on your actual content and visitor questions—not just the number of pages.

When one page is enough

A single page can work when your main offer, supporting details and contact options fit into a clear sequence. It does not mean leaving out essential information: visitors still need to understand what you do and how to reach you.

  • — One main service, offer or campaign
  • — A short set of visitor questions
  • — One primary next step, such as requesting a quote
  • — Content that remains readable without a long, crowded page

When separate pages are more useful

A multi-page website gives different services their own space. It also lets visitors link directly to the information they need instead of finding everything on one long page. More pages are useful only when each has a clear purpose.

  • — Several services that need their own explanations
  • — Dedicated service, about and contact information
  • — Different visitor needs or questions
  • — Enough real content to make each page useful

A real one-page example: Megan

Megan's live music-artist website brings releases, live dates, press, biography and contact details together on one landing page. Its purpose is to give listeners one place to explore the artist and reach her. It shows a one-page structure in practice, not a claim that every business should use the same layout.

Service presentation example: Taller & Co

Taller & Co's live creative-studio website presents strategy, identity, content, photography, web and advertising services, with process information and a proposal-request call to action. Use it to inspect how a broader offer is presented; the example does not imply a particular purchased package or measured conversion result.

What changes in our package scope?

The $299 Landing Website includes one-page design, mobile and tablet optimization, a contact or quote form, basic SEO, two revision rounds and launch assistance. The $499 Business Website includes up to five custom pages, mobile-first design, lead capture, service and about pages, local SEO optimization, three revision rounds and social/contact integration.

Optional hosting and maintenance is $20/month for either fixed-price package and includes two changes per month. Without our hosting, we deliver the website files and launch process. The domain is separate. The $79/month Monthly Website Plan includes a business website, hosting, maintenance and content updates and requires a 12-month commitment.

Neither structure guarantees search rankings or leads

Page count alone does not establish search performance or conversion results. Choose a structure that supports accurate content, clear navigation and a working contact path. Separate service pages can address distinct questions, but duplicating thin content just to add pages is not a substitute for useful information.

Agents, chatbots and booking or quote-request automations are separately scoped through AI Automation. Decide what functionality you need before treating it as part of either standard website package.

Choose before requesting a quote

List your services, the questions customers ask and the action you want them to take. If the material forms one short, coherent story, consider the Landing Website. If it needs distinct service and business pages, consider the Business Website. Confirm scope and a launch date with your quote rather than assuming a timeline from the page count.
